Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Sabriaya is a Philadelphia-based poet, educator, and community ethnographer determined to cultivate performance art and archival spaces centered around the expressive freedom of Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities. A recipient of the Philadelphia Foundation and Forman Art's Art Works and the Rosine 2.0 Past Visions/ Future Archives Micro-Grant, Sabriaya currently serves as Executive Director of Theatre Philadelphia and community organizer in Philly.
